I have enjoyed photography for many years, starting out on a 35mm Yashica that my parents loaned to me in high school. I fine tuned my skills in a couple of college courses, and then moved on to the digital realm with the rest of the world. I use my phone often, but also tend to bring along my trusty Canon G11 in case I need a little more camera to get the job done. Below are a few of my favorite photo travelogues, and also a random gallery of images taken over the past decade.
Here is a photo/travel diary from a trip taken through parts of west Texas and New Mexico. We visited two national parks and one national monument, plus several other natural wonders, esoteric towns, and museums.
One of my favorite areas to visit is the far northern reaches of Wisconsin. There are so many amazing spots to check out - here is a photo set that includes some pictures from our first trip to Madeline Island.
ZION NATIONAL PARK
For my 40th birthday, I decided I wanted to go to Zion. It was, of course, an amazing trip - one of those experiences that you'll never forget.
